What Is DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)?
The seller manages the full chain, including destination duties, to the buyer's door.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) places maximum responsibility on the seller, who manages freight, insurance, import customs clearance, and destination duties, delivering goods to the buyer's named address. It carries the highest quoted price of the four common Incoterms but the lowest operational burden for the buyer, which makes it the practical default for first-time importers who haven't yet built their own logistics and customs relationships at destination.
