What Is Tech Pack?

A detailed specification document covering a garment's measurements, materials, and construction.

A tech pack (technical package) is the detailed reference document a manufacturer builds a garment from — covering measurements and grading across the size run, fabric and trim specifications, construction details, and often a technical flat sketch. For OEM production, the buyer supplies the tech pack; for private label and ODM development, the manufacturer or a shared team develops it collaboratively before sampling begins.
